Principal’s Welcome / Te Mihi a te Tumuaki

Welcome to St Anne’s Catholic School.

Our school was established by the Mission Sisters in 1906. Their ‘mission’ was, and still is, to work with those who are vulnerable, neglected and marginalised in our world. As educators, they recognised the importance of having love as their driving force, of setting very high educational standards, and of living their lives as genuine role models for their students.

Our school still holds the values and heritage from its past and aims to continue this tradition of love, excellence in education and, as a community, to ‘live our faith through our actions.’

We are a small school with friendly and welcoming students and staff. When you walk into a school you get a feeling of what the school is like, and at St Anne’s there is a sense of belonging and care. Come down and see for yourself.

If you are looking for your child to have excellence in education and develop strong Gospel based values in a caring and beautiful environment, I recommend you come down to the school and I will show you around this hidden treasure.
