Kia ora koutou
I am getting this newsletter out early so you are fully ready for Term 3! Also, it is the last newsletter I will write for a term as I received a Study Award for Term 3. Although I have mentioned this a few times already, for those that have missed it, I will be studying for Term 3 with Ngāi Tahu on the ‘Poupou Reo o Tahu’ programme. It is a full-time immersion language programme specifically using Ngāi Tahu dialect and learning about history, protocols etc. I am really looking forward to this and hope it will be refreshing to have a break from principalship for a few months. I will be around this Monday as it is only a half day at course on the first day, starting properly on Tuesday. I will miss you all! Have a good term!!!! I can’t wait to see how the school ‘movie’ turns out, photos of the Matariki celebrations, hear how the zone x country and Koru Games goes and the list goes on.
