As we enter the second week of Lent, many of our classes will be looking at the work Caritas does around the world.

During Lent, New Zealand’s Catholic Bishops invite us to provide for the needs of the poor through the work of Caritas. Money raised through the Bishops’ Lent Appeal helps to fund both development and emergency relief work around the world.

This year each class will have a Caritas koha box on their prayer table and we ask that during Lent, any spare change be brought in to support Caritas. Thank you for your generosity.
