Our Feast Day! (St Anne / St Joachim)

Last week on the 26th of July, it was the Feast Day of St Anne and St Joachim. St Anne is often depicted with a book upon her lap and the child Mary leaning against her, eager to learn. God entrusted Anne with bringing up Mary in a holy and virtuous way. We know that St Anne must have modeled for Mary a life of prayer, love, and humility. She is a great role model for us all to follow today.

To help students remember the colours associated with St Anne, we gave our red and green treats after our Mass. Red for love, green for growth (in faith, knowledge, courage) and hope.
