Last newsletter before the big one!  This is a very quick newsletter for the week.  Basically an update for families before the big newsletter!  All of this is a ‘need to know’!

This week:
Wednesday

• Mahi Kāinga / Homework trip – The students listed below completed all of the requirements of the challenge homework over the year.  They can wear mufti for the day but it needs to be appropriate for doing  ‘active’  things in.  Definitely closed shoes (no jandals or scuffs).  Trip time 11am-2.50pm.  If you think we missed someone here, please contact your child’s teacher (not the office).

• Year 8 students and families have Farewell Dinner @ 6 pm.

Tuesday

• Christmas Newsletter home (so much information in here, 2021 classes, new staff, farewells, etc) 
• Prizegiving @ 5 pm in the Church.  Students are to be in school uniform.  This prizegiving is for all students and farewells the leavers.  We do not let parents know those students from each class who are receiving awards as we would like all families to make a real effort to come to this.  Awards are in all classes plus special awards. Leavers: Year 8s, Judi Parker, Ateliana Tiatia, Helen Battersby

Wednesday

• 9 am Room 3 and 5 are running a small assembly/end of year prayer service. All welcome!
• 12 pm School finishes for the year.

NOTE: Kidsbase will be open 12 pm-6 pm on this day.   They are only charging a standard 3hr day so a big thanks to them.

Kidsbase on-site Thursday 17th-Wednesday 23rd should you need it!!!!!! Great time to get shopping done!
