Hello from Kidsbase

This email is a friendly reminder of our :

Before and Afterschool Booking Absences and Cancellations:
Please find attached details of our Absences and Cancellation Policy for ALL bookings, this includes “Casual”
Ministry of Social Development regulations requires Kidsbase follow all compliance guidelines when supporting a booking/enrolment for any of the programmes we operate.

This means that things like correct staffing ratios, appropriate availability of resources, etc. must be adhered to at ALL times, for any booking/enrolment we accept.

A booking/enrolment acceptance is when Kidsbase “Confirm” bookings on our Aimy scheduling system.

Due to these forward financial commitments and obligations that are made by Kidsbase as soon as enrolment is confirmed, all absences with less than 2 weeks’ notice must be charged at full rates, this includes all Casual Enrolments.

These commitments and obligations are put in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all the children that attend, and is something we cannot renege on.

Any absence notification with more than 2 weeks’ notice – will only incur a 50% holding fee.

Cancellations of permanent bookings require 2 weeks’ notice, i.e. spaces and charges will be allocated for 2 weeks if a regular booking is cancelled with immediate effect.

It is also very important that all absences are notified to your Kidsbase Supervisor to eliminate delays and concerns associated with trying to locate absent children at the start of a programme.

Unlike most other programmes we do not currently apply penalty charges for non-notified absences – this policy is often reviewed and may change if necessary.

Thank you in advance for your consideration and understanding, and please feel free to contact me on the details below should you have any further questions relating to the above information.

Yours Sincerely,
