Special Character – Clara Mapley (DRS)

Our theme for this term is ‘Inspired.’   We are inspired in many ways and can inspire others. Some people find inspiration in Scripture, others in experiencing the wonder of God’s creation and many find inspiration in the works of others.

Room 6 has been learning about the Psalms and have been inspired to become psalmists ourselves. Here are some of our students’ work.

Praise the Lord for New Zealand – Sophia Lopez
Praise the Lord for he has made New Zealand,
Praise Him for He has made us.
Praise Him for the plants, the trees, the food we harvest and the flower bushes.
Praise Him for the kind and loving animals,
How we can spread our laughter playing with them.
Thank you, Lord, for the tiny little bugs that make sounds for us to hear.
Praise Him for making us laugh and show our love and affection to all and shower them with joy.
Praise Him for the birds singing and flying
Praise Him for all the fun we bring to the world.
Let us praise Him for all things!
Let us praise Him for His great glory,
Praise Him for the oceans, the rivers we swim in
and the dolphins swimming around the sea.
Praise Him for everything!

God’s Glory in Aotearoa – Lucas Boulden
O Lord, our creator
Your glory is seen throughout New Zealand
Your blessing stretches from the ground to the clouds
You are praised by humans and animals
When I look around, I see you have made nature and the wonderful views for us to enjoy.
O Lord, our creator
Your glory is seen throughout New Zealand.
